The 2014 Farm Bill has provisions to exclude certain year's yields from a producers APH calculation. The rule is that if the county average yield for a year is less than 50% of the 10-year county average yield, that year's yield can be excluded from the APH calculation. The maps below show which years' yields are excludable in each county. Maps were created using data from USDA Risk Management Agency, http://www.rma.usda.gov/news/currentissues/aph/index.html. For a description and guidance on yield exclusion, see the farmdoc daily article "Yield Exclusion: Description and Guidance."
These maps are current as of December 2016.
